The Clubhouse provides a great waterside training venue and doubles as a food hall with DIY food preparation areas especially kitted out for such groups. Exclusive use of our river beaches and extensive parking facilities make the required training sessions memorable and practical.

  • School/University camps
ie rowing camps, art camps, writing camps, orienteering camps and survival camps etc.
We have regularly hosted Stuartholme, Nudgee, and Canterbury College for waterbased school camps. They love the easy access to water and plenty of parking. The bungalows are easily isolated from any other accommodation making it easy for camp leaders to supervise the students.

  • Corporate groups/Associations
Corporate retreats and association workshops come in many sizes and with a varying range of budgets and requirements. More and more we find planners seeking to have their dollar go further for live-in immersive experiences.  Seating for up to 75 people theatre style or 50 banquet style is available in our Clubhouse. Marqee sites allow this capacity to expand to up to 250 banquet style if required. Waterside cocktails or funfilled frivolity for 10 - 400 guests can be facilitated. Just use your imagination.

  • Team building
Activities can be as simple as a meditation session on the sand or a race on the kayaks across the river up to a game of skirmish or an offsite sleuthing adventure around the region. Numerous teambuilding companies now operate on the Sunshine Coast and we can happily assist to find one that can help you createyour personal vision.

  • Recreation clubs / Church Groups
ie bushwalking, birdwatching, biking, nature clubs, car enthusiasts, church congregations
We have hosted many clubs including Bribie Island RSL Fishing Club and CUB Fishing Club. With own boat ramp & ability to moor directly out front it is a convenient option for water based clubs.  We have also hosted the likes of the Coke Collectors Club and Resto Rydz Car Club who love the access to the hotel and ample parking. Moreton Bay Christadelphians are regular guests and love the freedom of the venue and the helpfulness of the staff.

  • Tour groups
    ie bus tours,
Easy bus and coach turning and parking. Great stopover for bus drivers. All bungalows maximum 6 steps. Excellent meals at the neighbouring Waterfront Hotel or catering can come to site to make sure your meal times are as equally memorable experience as the remainder of the tour.

  • Work Crews
ie out of town work crews and tradespeople doing work on the Sunshine Coast for local projects
We regularly host companies such as Synergy Systems, J&P Richardson, Qld Rail, Downer EDI Works and numerous small business operators. They love the central location, the pub meals,  and the fact that we look after them making it easy to get in late, get out early, change bookings and work with purchase order systems and special procedures if required.
