Make your special day a special weekend

Maroochy River Resort and Bungalows provides a friendly relaxed environment for your wedding celebration.  It is ideal for those who want a group event but want a more casual environment than a hotel functon room. Hire a marquee, tables and organise a catering team to do it all on site for you. Or, make it a family affair and have everyone pitch in and lend a hand. 

Highly recommended are the 19 one bedroom self-contained bungalows which form two circles of accommodation each providing a central bbq and lawn area for gathering and activities.  Bookings for Circle 1 have a 2 night minimum and will include an outdoor kitchen area. Bookings for both circles may have a 3 night minimum at certain times of the year.

Capacities assuming 1 family per bungalow are as follows:

• Circle one: 10 familiies in 10 bungalows
• Circle two: 9 families in 9 bungalows (19 bungalows in both clusters)
• Total: 19 families (85 persons if all beds fully occupied)
• Additional 2 bedroom cabins are available if required for larger groups however all Ine bedroom bungalows must be booked first.

Capacities assuming 1 person per bed

(ie no one sharing the double bed, still mix of adults and children) 

• Circle one: 36 persons in 10 bungalows
• Circl two: 30 persons in 9 bungalows
• Total: 66 persons
• Additional 2 bedroom bungalows available if required 

Maximum group capacities assuming all single adults

(ie no use of top bunks or  trundles, 1 person only per double bed) 

• 27 persons in 10 bungalows
• 24 persons in 9 bungalows
• Total: 51 persons
• additional 2 bedroom villas available if required 

Additional 2 bedroom units are available but are not necessarily close together and may be spread throughout the complex. This may suit some groups but not others.
